Find yourself a fulfilling career.The Wage Subsidy Assistance Program is intended to assist unemployed individuals in finding permanent full-time jobs of a minimum 30 hours per week. 

In Niagara, this program is coordinated by the BEC with funding provided by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. 

 

EMPLOYERS SAVE MONEY!

Hire staff and gain the benefits!

By hiring an unemployed individual, you can be reimbursed up to 50% of his or her wages for up to 30 weeks.

  • Are you an employer in the Niagara region?
  • Are you looking to hire an employee for a full-time (30+ hrs/week) and permanent position?
  • Is the person you wish to hire currently collecting Employment Insurance (EI) benefits, or had an EI claim end in the past 3 years or a Parental/Maternity EI claim start in the past 5 years?
  • Would you like to save your company money?
  • If you answered "yes" to these questions then you have come to the right place.

We also have hundred of eligible individuals on file. Simply call us with your hiring needs and we will identify potential candidates. As the employer, you make the final decision on whom to hire.
