As part of the strategy to help young people make the successful transition from school to work, the BEC coordinates annual student conferences. Designed to help young people make good, informed decisions about their future career choices, these conferences will provide a current and true image of today’s emerging labour market and ultimately guide students on a pathway to success. Local role models from a broad spectrum of careers will provide first-hand accounts of their chosen careers and what it took to get them there. In partnership with the District School Board of Niagara, the Niagara Catholic District School Board, and the Niagara Training and Adjustment Board.
